The E-Biz Sport Sector
Administered by:

SASBI (South African Sport Business Incubation) the national Sport Service Supplier
South African sport in the past few years has seen an increase in the number of 'black' sportsmen and women. Focusing specifically in the field of Rugby, many of them reached the peak in their careers, as they represented South Africa. Yet, sadly, many of these legends struggled when their rugby careers ended, as they lacked the capacity and the opportunity to advance in the corporate environment.
For this very reason we have developed the E-Biz Program for the Sport Sector of South Africa enabling coaches and players to bridge the financial gap caused as a result of socio-economic challenges that might impact largely on their performance in the sport arena.
SASBI (South African Sport Business Incubator) is appointed as national service provider for the sport sector. The National Sport Admin Hub, managed by the National Sport Principal Officer and his team, is responsible for setting up provincial, regional and local sport admin hubs to administer roll-out of the E-Biz Program to other sport organisations in South Africa. Coaches will therefore be granted the opportunity to register on the E-Biz Platform with the aim to administer Local Admin Hubs that is responsible for rolling out the E-Biz Program to the sport sector.
Coaches and players look to supplement their income whilst they work hard at building up a sustainable career or their own business. To be at the top of their game the E-Biz Program will provide access to continuous education, training and development and to new and innovative opportunities to keep them excited whilst they develop a creative approach to business areas that need their knowledge of sport and outdoor, physical activities. They will also, due to their coaching background, use the train-the-trainer concepts to pass on their skills, knowledge and experiences. This in itself has the potential to ultimately develop the entire sports community that they operate in.
All of the above will be made possible through the platform and start up packages that will be provided for via the E-Biz Pogram to enable distance learning and coaching including hardware; software; connectivity; data etc. all of which will be paid for through the banking facility and the bank cards. Insurances will be available in case of sickness or injury and also to cover the equipment provided.
Other sport organisations my apply via the E-Biz/SASBI Sport Hub to become a member on the panel of
E-Biz/SASBI Sport Organisations and access the various benefits the E-Biz Program has to offer. Local sport organisations may also register to participate in the E-Biz Discount Voucher Project allowing family and friends of coaches/players to register for the Discount Voucher Program .
